Well well well. The hospitality here in USA has been very good. Except from the darn flies. As soon as we got out of the rental car last saturday, we where attacked by an army of Mosquitos. Before we could get in to Benzi and get some repellants we where like a fly buffet. Now I do look Like Frankenstein. I have been bitten every where and I mean every where. There are horns on my forehead and my body, which is recovering, looked like a bumpy road in the outbacks of Iceland.
In my opinion highways are as much fun as hemorrhoids. Not that I have ever experienced the hem thing, but it rimes nicely.
This is the reason why we are no further yet than Jackson, Mississippi we have taken all kinds of other routs to awoid being bored to death on the highway.
After a delay in plans and hectic days and nights before departure we are at last sound and safe in USA.
The entry was way much easier than I thought it would be. The reason for that is the decision we made few days prior to departure. Our dog Tara could not find a new home, so we where left with two choices a) to put it to sleep and b) take it with us. Of course it was not difficult. So now we are three on the road.
